T280 Twin-Rotor Drone Supports Qingdao Red Cross Rescue Drill
Recently, Shitian Aviation’s twin-rotor fuel-powered drone, the T280, successfully airlifted a 60 kg water pump during a wildfire firefighting drill organized by the Qingdao Red Cross Rescue Team. The exercise aimed to improve the team’s operational efficiency in complex environments and test the performance of new equipment in real-world rescue scenarios.

High Payload and Endurance
Developed and manufactured by Qingdao Shitian Aviation, the T280 boasts a maximum payload capacity of 120 kg and an endurance of 2–4 hours, enabling it to handle extended and heavy-lift missions with ease. During the drill, the T280 transported the water pump smoothly and precisely to the designated drop-off point, demonstrating exceptional stability and controllability.
- Maximum Payload: 120 kg
- Endurance: 2–4 hours continuous operation
- Operational Role: Heavy-lift transportation in rescue scenarios
- Stability: Accurate positioning for safe material delivery
Enhancing Emergency Response
According to the Qingdao Red Cross Rescue Team, this drill was an important evaluation of both emergency responsiveness and the integration of new technology. With the T280, the team can quickly and efficiently deliver critical supplies—such as pumps, medical equipment, or emergency provisions—into disaster-stricken areas, especially during floods or other natural disasters. This speed can be decisive in saving lives and protecting property.
